Hi everyone and welcome to our piece of the web. We are Rick & Julie and we live on 20 acres in the mountains overlooking Caboolture and Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.  A beautiful piece of Australia located centrally on the East Coast.

This is our "Mid Life Crisis Story"....

When we were 20 we lived like there was no tomorrow and we never even spared a second of our valuable fun time to think that we might even reach the age of 50 some day.

Well what do you do when that day does come along? Sure you reflect and remember some of your school mates who passed away through accident or illness and would never see 50. So you pat yourself on the back and think how lucky you are to  be still breathing and living life's experiences.

All of a sudden, 50 isn't old and decrepit like you thought it might be in your twenties. You're active and virile and look for fun at every opportunity...Some things never change...but still...50 what will the younger folks think?? How do you get back some of that youth?? Just how do you reverse the aging process?? If you look at your junk e-mail...HGH (Human Growth Hormone) is the answer and combined with Viagra, which also arrives in the spam everyday, you could soon be a super human, able to  run a marathon, win a beauty contest and make Errol Flynn look like a virgin.

Well, I went out and bought a bike instead. When you drive a car, everything is done by the car, save a couple of fingers resting on the steering wheel which is connected to the wheels by a hydraulic pump called power steering.

Throw your leg over a bike and the feeling is totally different. It supplies the power and the wheels and you supply the guidance system when you meld yourself with it. The result is a bio-mechanical adrenalin android having fun wherever its pointing.

Now that's what I call reversing the aging process.

We reckon that you'd have to complete the process by joining a motorcycle club and "Hang Out" and you couldn't go past a club that has around 25,000 members nation wide and who's slogan is...

"Grow Old Disgracefully"

Disgracefully Yours
