HF AMPLIFIER FOR SALE This is an ex military amplifier deck covering 2-30 Mhz, The RF deck is complete and incorporates the cathode, grid and screen supplies. The final tube is an Eimac 8295-A. This is very rugged Pentode version of the Eimac 4CX-1000A. The deck is very nice indeed with Jennings Vacuum variable capacitors for Plate Tune and Load...complete with working turns counters. I have the Eimac specs sheet for the tube and they quote an output of 1700 watts with 3Kv on the plate. This amp will need a 3000 volt HT power supply to make it go. You will also need to add some input and output relays. I have the original circuit diagrams and the circuit showing the necessary mods to make it complete. I also have the complete hand book on the amplifier with the tune up procedures etc. The output tube that goes with the RF deck is an original Eimac 8295-A and is brand new and never been used.
